Card Condition
Our team will provide a pre-grade inspection just like the grading companies.
- Corners – We examine the corners to ensure there are no signs of soft corners, creases and whiting.
- Edges – We examine the edges to ensure there are no signs of wear like chipping, dents, paper fraying and more.
- Surface – Surface imperfections can significantly affect a card’s overall grade. We use magnification and LED lighting to inspect for flaws such as scratches, print defects, creases, scuffing, ink marks, and more.
Centering – We Examine the symmetry of the card’s design and how well it is centered. This Plays a pivotal role in the grading because of the effect it has on the visual appeal. We will ensure the cards being graded have 60/40 centering or better.
